It snowed again last night so we thought it would be a good idea to go and see our duck and make sure she had enough food. Then we went to play in the playground and played on our new assault course!
We all went out for a walk in the frost this morning. Very cold and clear but we wrapped up warm. Then back inside to brighten up our day with some building and colour!
The Sheep in Fiona's field needed moving so the Shepherd and his dog came along with their big trailer and rounded them all up - eventually!
Victoria helped us to make bread rolls this morning and read us The Little Red Hen story. Then we all went out to see our own little red hens while our rolls were baking.
It was such a nice day so we decided to spend all our time outside in the garden, helping to move the bark chippings on to our new path and watering the flowers. We also tried painting and had our snack and lunch outside too. Julie fell over when she tried to move some bark on her own!
A lovely late-summer day... We wish you all a great Summer Holiday! The parents did as much racing in and out of the rain as the children but everyone had a great time and the lunch was delicious. Thank you to everyone who took part in our special day!
We had a lovely time today making red, white and blue cakes, painting the bunting and playing Princes and Princesses. Everyone dressed up and we had a scrummy picnic lunch too!
