From sledging to cooking, making rockets and getting on with lots of fun things, we've been keeping busy!
Although brief, we have crammed a lot into our first part of the year.

We welcomed lots of new friends to our Nursery this month who had a busy time meeting new people, having birthdays, learning about our Montessori equipment and even making bread!
Lilya's mummy and daddy very kindly brought in some of their lambs for us to see on the last afternoon of term. We fed them some milk and stroked their soft wool - they were a bit shy but loved our cup shelf!
We have had two concerts for our Mummies and Daddies so far this week. We have been singing lots of our favourite songs - Baa Baa Black Sheep, Two Little Dickie Birds and our best song, Sleeping Bunnies, where we all get to sleep and then wake up and hop around!
We celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee all this week with lots of yummy cakes and biscuits decorated with red, white and blue icing. We had some healthy snacks too, but they weren't quite so colourful! We decorated our Nursery with lots of flags and bunting too and had our lunch outside when it was warm enough.
Some of our newer children have been getting to grips with all the interesting things in their nursery, including a new baby who came to visit on Friday.
