We welcomed lots of new friends to our Nursery this month who had a busy time meeting new people, having birthdays, learning about our Montessori equipment and even making bread!
We have had two concerts for our Mummies and Daddies so far this week. We have been singing lots of our favourite songs - Baa Baa Black Sheep, Two Little Dickie Birds and our best song, Sleeping Bunnies, where we all get to sleep and then wake up and hop around!
We had great fun making bread this week! We mixed all the ingredients then added the water and took tuns to stir. Then we each had a piece of dough to squish and squash and stretch and pull until it was ready to make into a roll. Then it went on the tray and into the oven.
The bread tasted so good, all our mummies and daddies wanted some too! We celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee all this week with lots of yummy cakes and biscuits decorated with red, white and blue icing. We had some healthy snacks too, but they weren't quite so colourful! We decorated our Nursery with lots of flags and bunting too and had our lunch outside when it was warm enough.
Some of our newer children have been getting to grips with all the interesting things in their nursery, including a new baby who came to visit on Friday.
Sometimes it's nice to share what we do every day at our Montessori Nursery - lots of work and fun inside and out!
