From sledging to cooking, making rockets and getting on with lots of fun things, we've been keeping busy!
Although brief, we have crammed a lot into our first part of the year.

There's nothing quite like making and eating home-made biscuits in the depths of winter. Julie found a wonderful recipe for Rainbow Biscuits which was great fun to make - and even nicer to taste, although we had to try not eating too much cookie dough before we put them in the oven.
Everyone got to try the biscuits at snack time and there were even a few left over to give to Mums and Dads too :-) We welcomed lots of new friends to our Nursery this month who had a busy time meeting new people, having birthdays, learning about our Montessori equipment and even making bread!
We had great fun making bread this week! We mixed all the ingredients then added the water and took tuns to stir. Then we each had a piece of dough to squish and squash and stretch and pull until it was ready to make into a roll. Then it went on the tray and into the oven.
The bread tasted so good, all our mummies and daddies wanted some too! |
